2024 TOURNAMENT ORGANIZATION

Games: 6th and 7th April 2024,

Arrivals: Friday 5rd April 2024

TEAMS and PLAYERS

The 2024 tournament is reserved EXCLUSIVELY for boys and girls born in 2011 and 2012.

A strict maximum of 10 players per team can sign in. Each team must have a coach and a delegate. We strongly encourage teams to also bring referee(s) (mandatory for French teams).

ARRIVAL and DEPARTURE DATES

Arrival of the delegation at Pacé must occur no later than 8pm Friday April 5rd,.

Departure of the delegation can occur on the Sunday evening (after the closing ceremony, so from 9:00pm) or on the Monday 8th morning (from 7:00 am).

Allow for 6 hours of bus trip between the airport of Paris and Pacé, and 2 hours between that of Nantes and Pacé.

TRANSPORT

Transport fees until Rennes or Pacé are the entire responsibility of the invited delegations.

We provide free shuttles from Rennes airport/train station to Pacé for the players, coach, delegate and referees. Other potential people have to handle such transport themselves.

During the tournament, hosting families take care of transportation to the sport halls and back. Other persons have to take care themselves of transportation between hotels and sport halls (watch-out, not much public transport on Sundays in Pacé and Saint-Gilles, so we highly recommend to hire a car).

ACCOMMODATION

Accommodation for 10 players, 2 coaches and 2 referees is provided by us (with host family accommodation). The rest of your delegation (including club officials and parents) are to be accommodated at your own expense in a hotel. For your information, the families who are hosting are unpaid.  It will be necessary to remind your players that the families wish to have exchanges with them, and that the players will have to take their Friday and Saturday night meals with the host families. To help communication, it would be preferable to have, if possible, a player speaking English or French in each pair. The players are hosted by pairs in families

EXHIBITORS

Each delegation can, during the tournament, present its town or city, its area and its country.  It can sell hand craft products, culinary and gastronomic specialties, etc.  Stand officials (at most 2) can be hosted in local families or, alternatively, can arrange and pay for their own accommodation such as a hotel.  Transport fees, as always, remain the responsibility of the exhibitors.

CULTURAL GROUPS

The members of a cultural group accompanying a delegation can be hosted in local families or, alternatively, can arrange and pay for their own accommodation such as a hotel.  Transport fees, as always, remain the responsibility of the cultural group.

INSURANCE AND RESPONSIBILITY

The EURO PACE ASSOCIATION assumes no responsibility in case of accident, sickness or injury occurring to any invited delegation member.  The EURO PACE ASSOCIATION does not pay any medical or pharmacy related fees. The EURO PACE ASSOCIATION is not responsible for anything stolen during the tournament.

ARRIVAL PROCEDURE

The following documents will be requested when you arrive in Pacé:

  • the list of players with their license numbers,
  • the presentation of an identity document such as passport for each player (an original document, not a copy).

PHOTOS / VIDEOS

Photos and videos can be taken during the matches and, more generally, at all the places where the tournament takes place, and will be able to be published on our Internet site and our social networks, without any commercial purpose. The acceptance of the conditions of participation implies the authorization of these publications for all the registered delegations to the tournament.
